11 Days Honeymoon Safari
Spend 4 nights exploring in depth the wildlife haven that is the Maasai Mara Game Reserve. Have close encounters with the Big Five before retreating to the pristine and idyllic beaches of Zanzibar for a 6 day bliss beach retreat.
Your adventure begins the moment you land in Nairobi. You'll be warmly welcomed by our airport representative who will assist you through immigration, customs, and baggage collection. From here, you’ll be transferred to Wilson Airport for your scenic flight to the breathtaking landscapes of the Masai Mara.
Upon landing, your safari experience begins with a game drive en route to Saruni Leopard Hill Camp, your luxurious base nestled within the Naboisho Conservancy. This intimate camp blends eco-conscious design with indulgent comfort—ideal for settling into the rhythm of the wild. Spend your first evening beside a crackling fire, with only the sounds of nature as your soundtrack.
Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Each morning in the Mara awakens with golden light and the promise of new discoveries. Set out on expertly guided game drives across the conservancy—a quieter, less-crowded haven teeming with wildlife. Your experienced guides will help you spot big cats like lions, cheetahs, and leopards, as well as elephants, zebras, giraffes, and a host of antelope species. Keep an eye on the riverbanks for crocodiles basking in the sun.
Back at Leopard Hill, recount your wildlife sightings over a private candlelit dinner, or join fellow adventurers for a communal bush feast under the stars. To deepen your connection with this land, you may choose to visit a local Maasai village, experience the thrill of a horseback safari, or take to the skies at sunrise in a hot air balloon—complete with champagne upon landing. For the truly adventurous, black rhino tracking offers a rare and rewarding experience.
Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Bid farewell to the Mara with one last game drive before catching your flight back to Nairobi. Upon arrival, you’ll be transferred to the international terminal for your onward flight to Zanzibar.
Once you arrive on this spice-scented island, you’ll be greeted and transferred to the tranquil oasis of Xanadu Villas, your home for the next five nights. Nestled along the shoreline, this all-inclusive boutique retreat offers ultimate privacy and elegance with your very own villa and pool. Prepare for days filled with indulgence and culture in equal measure.
Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Unwind in barefoot luxury as you ease into island life. Lounge on powder-soft sands with a refreshing drink in hand, cool off in your private plunge pool, or rejuvenate at the spa with soothing Swahili-inspired treatments. Beyond the beach, explore the cultural richness of Stone Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site layered with African, Arab, Indian, and European influences. Wander through its maze-like alleys, visit the haunting remnants of the slave market, and admire the ornate doors that tell stories of a bygone era.
Day trips can take you to Prison Island, Jozani Forest—home to the endangered red colobus monkeys—or Mnarani Turtle Sanctuary. For those drawn to the ocean, vibrant coral reefs await just offshore for snorkeling and diving, or embark on a dolphin safari across Zanzibar’s shimmering waters. For something slower-paced, opt for a guided village tour to meet local artisans and farmers. Whether you seek serenity or spirited exploration, Zanzibar caters to every mood.
Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
After a final leisurely breakfast by the beach, you’ll be transferred to the airport for your international flight home. As your East African honeymoon comes to a close, we’re confident this journey will mark the beginning of many shared adventures to come.

Know your Safari Seasons
The "regular" or "dry" safari season in East Africa generally offers optimal game viewing due to reduced rainfall and vegetation, making it easier to spot wildlife. These months offer a balance between lower prices, fewer tourists, and decent game viewing.
Animals are concentrated around water, vegetation is low and sparse, and predators are circling. But at this time of year, the famous wildebeest migration is in Tanzania’s Serengeti, moving southwards following the end of year rains. Witness the Serengeti dramatic birthing season: it’s one of the best times to watch predator/prey interaction.
It’s green because it’s wet. This is the time of the ‘Long Rains’ and some of the more remote and wild reserves in East Africa are worth avoiding; accommodations may be closed anyway. Gorilla trekking becomes more difficult, and in Kenya and Tanzania’s reserves, wildlife tends to disperse across wider areas, making animals more difficult to see.
